Annapolis Md (KM) A ceremony to remember the more than 600 lives lost in preventable roadway crashes last year will be held in Annapolis. The Maryland Department of Transportation says the 21st annual Maryland Remembers event will take place on Monday, December 16th, 2024.

It will start with a procession of family and friends carrying framed pictures of their loved ones. The pictures will not just be of people who died last year in motor vehicle crashes, but those killed in previous years.

Following the procession, they’ll be a short program held at the Westin Annapolis, 100 Westgate Court, in Annapolis. …
