SALISBURY, Md.- A marker in downtown Salisbury memorializing the victims of lynching has been damaged.
City officials say it happened during the setup for its “3rd Friday” event. They say the incident was unintentional and happened without any malicious intent.
The “Lynching in Wicomico County” marker has been temporarily taken down. We are told the city is working to have it repaired and plans to reinstall it as soon as possible…
