Worcester County middle schoolers honored for saving student’s life

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. — Two Pocomoke City middle schoolers had a lunch they’ll likely never forget.

Reign Jackson and ReiJon Canty, fourth-graders at Pocomoke Middle School, saved their classmate’s life after they began choking, the Worcester County Public School System said.

“In a moment of crisis, when a fellow classmate began choking, Reign and ReiJon sprang into action without hesitation,” WCPSS said Thursday. “Their calm and immediate response saved their peer’s life, demonstrating incredible composure and bravery in the face of an emergency.”…
