The upcoming Façade Tectonics Institute’s (FTI) 2024 World Congress will highlight the latest façade research and developments worldwide. The event will be held from Oct. 8 to 11, 2024, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
The peer-reviewed paper conference will feature keynote speakers Chris O’Hara, from StudioNYL in Boulder, Colorado, and Geoffrey Thün, a professor of architecture at the University of Michigan. Various speakers will also address industry-related topics, including materials, façade technology, embodied carbon, energy performance of façade systems and modeling.
During the event, attendees can visit Steel Encounters, a local façade fabrication company, and tour the Astra Tower, Utah’s tallest building. FTI will also welcome new fellows into its College of Fellows and hold a gala reception at the University Museum of Fine Arts…
