Salt Lake City, UT – A dense fog advisory remains in effect across northern Utah, creating dangerous driving conditions on major roadways. The National Weather Service has warned that visibility is reduced to less than a quarter mile in affected areas, including I-80 between Salt Lake City and Grantsville.

According to the National Weather Service, the advisory lasts until 11 a.m. Saturday. Motorists are urged to slow down, use headlights, and maintain safe distances. Fog is densest around the Great Salt Lake and along major highways, where drivers may encounter sudden patches of low visibility. Elevated areas east of I-15 are expected to remain foggy throughout the morning.

Saturday afternoon will bring hazy conditions with highs near 45°F. Overnight, temperatures will drop to 27°F, keeping roads slick in some areas.
