From popping fireworks to shows, here’s everything to know about the Fourth of July in San Angelo this year.
Fireworks
Fireworks season got underway Monday in Texas and continues through midnight July 4. The city of San Angelo and the police department want to remind the public about fireworks laws.
Shooting or possessing fireworks inside or within 5,000 feet of city limits is a class C misdemeanor punishable by a maximum fine of $2,000. To report illegal fireworks, please contact the nonemergency police dispatch number at 325-657-4315.
