A motorcycle accident in Miramar Ranch North left a 50-year-old man with serious injuries, authorities said. The incident, involving two Harley Davidson motorcycles, occurred yesterday along the 10500 block of Scripps Poway Parkway.
The San Diego Police Department Watch Commander’s Log detailed that the man, P1, was trailing another motorcyclist, P2, aged 55. Both were weaving through traffic by splitting the eastbound lanes. As they approached the intersection of Scripps Highland Drive, P2 braked, and P1 could not stop in time, crashing into the rear of P2’s motorcycle. P1 was left with a fractured left ankle and six fractured left ribs, as reported by the official police statement via the City of San Diego’s official website.
