S.F. prosecutors charge woman accused of shooting multiple people in Bryant Street building

San Francisco prosecutors charged a woman suspected of shooting multiple people on Jan. 2 following an alleged altercation at a Bryant Street housing site, officials said Monday.

Monique Davis, 49, was expected to be arraigned Monday afternoon on charges of attempted murder, committing a crime while out on bail and other allegations.

Prosecutors said in a statement that Davis allegedly entered an elevator at her residence on the 800 block of Bryant Street “and immediately punched one of the victims multiple times in the face.” Davis then allegedly returned to her room, retrieved a semiautomatic pistol and approached two other people, firing on them multiple times.
