San Mateo, California – Residents of San Mateo are invited to take part in a second community workshop emphasizing anti-displacement laws and tenant rights. This important meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 7 PM. It will take place in the City Council Chambers and can be accessed by Zoom, therefore benefiting both in-person and remote attendees.
The Community Relations Commission plans this workshop in line with the past November 20, 2024 session’s framework. For anyone who missed the previous meeting, a recording is available online allowing everyone to catch up on the conversations that happened.
The next session seeks to expand on the first comments received from the initial meeting and several early conversations with local legal aid and housing advocacy organization staff members.
