SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks have issued qualifying offers to seven of their restricted free agents but are leaving four others — defenseman Calen Addison and forwards Jacob Peterson, Jack Studnicka, and Filip Zadina – free to sign with other teams.
The Sharks retained the negotiating rights to forwards Egor Afanasyev, Thomas Bordeleau, Brandon Coe, Ty Dellandrea, Carl Grundstrom, and defensemen Ty Emberson and Henry Thrun.
Afanasyev, Dellandrea, Grundstrom, and Thrun were all acquired via trade, Bordeleau and Coe were San Jose draft picks, and Emberson was a waiver claim last year…
