The San Marcos Sheriff’s Station is investigating a collision that sent a teenager to the hospital with major injuries.
On Thursday, October 31, just after 6:30 a.m., the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call about a collision on S. Rancho Santa Fe Road, just south of San Marcos Boulevard. Additional callers told dispatchers that a teenager had been struck by a vehicle and was down in the roadway.
The San Marcos Fire Department arrived on the scene and immediately began rendering medical attention to the victim, a 16-year-old girl. She was taken to the hospital with major, potentially life-threatening injuries…
