( KRON ) — One person was killed in a double-stabbing in San Jose on Monday night, the San Jose Police Department said. The other victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Just after 7 p.m., police were called to the 3200 block of Payne Avenue for a family disturbance. Callers told police that a “known suspect” had broken into their home and initiated a physical altercation.

Officers arrived to find a man and a woman with stab wounds. The man died at a hospital, and the woman is expected to survive.
