Sophomore post Macy Miller kicked off a pair of first-quarter runs that helped 10th/20th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan women’s basketball team on its way to a 83-44 North Coast Athletic Conference win over Oberlin on Saturday in Oberlin.
Oberlin had taken a 3-2 lead on a jumper by Krystal Montas before Miller answered with a jumper that kicked off a 6-0 burst and put the Bishops ahead to stay. Fifth-year guard Lauren Denison followed with a 3-pointer and senior post Karlee Ross split a pair of free throws for an 8-3 Bishop lead.
