As we look back at 2024 and the U.S. Congress that’s winding to a close, I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to an unwavering champion of the working and retired people of Ohio: outgoing Sen. Sherrod Brown.
Sen. Brown, those of us who appreciated and voted for you and your track record of supporting workers and retirees unfortunately did not prevail in the most recent election, but it does not mean that your work on behalf of working Ohioans goes unnoticed or unappreciated.
I expect that appreciation will only deepen, as many Ohio voters begin to realize what they lost – a voice for those who earn their wages, not steal them; for those who live off a paycheck, not their massive wealth; for those who the work, versus mistreating those who work for them; for those who play by the rules, instead of trying to hide their actions from scrutiny…
