COLLINS — State agents returned with a dig team on Thursday to the property where Amanda Dean was allegedly killed seven years ago.
Fred Reer is accused of murdering Amanda Dean in 2017. He was arrested on Friday, Feb. 9, 2023.
The investigators were present Thursday morning and appear to have dug a large area of the property at 1744 Wells Road and used a ladder to send down evidence recovery technicians.
It’s unknown what information investigators might have received recently that brought them back to the property, where a search warrant was executed in 2023, just weeks prior to when Fred Reer, 40, was arrested and charged with murder…
