City of Eustis To Host Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

EUSTIS, Fla. — The City of Eustis, in partnership with Powerhouse Christian Center/Trinity Evangelical Free Church, the Eustis Jr. Panthers, and Empower U First, will host its 2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Sunday, Jan. 19, and Monday, Jan. 20. This year’s theme, “We Are One,” highlights the city’s commitment to unity and Dr. King’s enduring legacy.

The celebration kicks off with an Ecumenical Service and Gospel Concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Trinity Church, located at 890 Abrams Rd. in Eustis. On Monday, the festivities continue with a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Eustis Memorial Library, followed by a Unity Walk that concludes in Ferran Park. The event will wrap up with family-friendly activities and entertainment in the park.

Eustis has a long-standing tradition of honoring Dr. King’s contributions to civil rights through annual celebrations that promote unity and reflection.
