SANFORD — Phyllis Corine McCarn Early died June 7, 2024, at Brookridge Retirement Community in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Sanford.
She was born Feb. 20, 1931, in Cabarrus County, the daughter of Charlie Lindsay McCarn and birth mother Maude Hinson McCarn. Her birth mother died in 1937 prior to Phyllis’ sixth birthday.
