(KRON) — A rare Puerto Rican restaurant in the East Bay is leaving Oakland.
La Perla Puerto Rican Cuisine is closing its Oakland restaurant this week and moving elsewhere in the Bay Area, the business announced on social media. The restaurant, located at 3409 Fruitvale Ave., will have its last day on in Oakland Saturday, Nov. 30.
“As we prepare to close our doors in Oakland, we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the love and support you’ve shown La Perla Puerto Rican Cuisine over the years,” La Perla wrote in an Instagram post. “Serving you in this vibrant community has been a true privilege, and we’ll forever cherish the memories and friendships we’ve built here.”…
