A tragic accident struck near Santa Clara University when a vehicle collided with a pedestrian yesterday, causing fatal injuries. The Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD) reported responding to the scene at approximately 11:58 AM at the intersection of El Camino Real and Accolti Way, where they found an injured male pedestrian on the ground. Authorities have identified the victim as an 18-year-old resident and student at Santa Clara University.
Immediately upon arrival, Santa Clara Fire Department (SCFD) personnel administered first aid and performed life-saving measures to save the young man’s life.
