LA Metro is offering free rides on Christmas Eve as part of its annual effort to help passengers travel safely during the holidays.
The transit agency was providing free rides beginning at 4 a.m. Christmas Eve and ending at 3 a.m. on Christmas Day. Additionally, there will be extended service until 2 a.m. on all rail lines, Metro said.
