Firefighters rescue man from ravine after golf cart accident in Saratoga

SARATOGA, California — Firefighters responded to a golf cart accident in Saratoga on Monday morning, rescuing a man trapped in a ravine. The incident occurred around 10:46 a.m. on the 21000 block of Prospect Road.The Santa Clara County Fire Department reported that crews found the man approximately 25 to 30 feet down the ravine. Firefighters used a ladder and rope as a safety line to assist the adult male up the ravine. He was subsequently assessed and transported to the hospital for evaluation.
