A high-speed vehicle pursuit is underway this evening in inland Mendocino County, with authorities tracking a wanted vehicle reaching speeds of up to 140 miles per hour.
The chase began around 6:55 p.m., according to scanner traffic, as a motorcycle, described as a vehicle, was spotted traveling northbound on Highway 101 through Hopland. A helicopter followed the vehicle as it sped through the area.
The vehicle eventually turned southbound on Highway 101 in the area of Ukiah, continuing its high-speed flight from authorities. As of the latest reports, the pursuit is ongoing towards Hopland once again…
