The 2024 area cross country season had a great mix of veteran standouts and promising newcomers, especially on the girls side. Of course, the cream always rises to the top, and this year was no exception.
North Port’s Malia Hambrick didn’t change one bit for the girls. The two-time Sun Preps Cross Country Runner of the Year helped her team reach states, and she may have found a freshman heir-apparent.
