VENICE — Troy Gerhart found his passion for sports as he grew up under the bright lights of the Venice High School football stadium.
When he wasn’t playing wide receiver for the Indians, Gerhart busied himself with wrestling, ultimately earning himself a scholarship to Cumberland University in Tennessee.
And 20 years later, the alum decided to take a break from pro-wrestling and come back home…
