USPS officials working with FEMA to reopen Florida facilities

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – USPS officials released a statement Saturday afternoon that the Postal Service is working with FEMA and other federal agencies to respond to the impact of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, which have caused significant disruptions to mail and package delivery services in the Southeast region.

While some USPS operations in Florida have resumed, it will take time to fully recover from the aftermath of the hurricanes.
