Former anti-gun violence advocate arrested for Port Wentworth murder

PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WSAV) – A man whose job it once was to keep people out of jail is now behind bars himself.

Frederic Green is being accused of a murder that happened in Port Wentworth in late November. News 3 learned that Green is also facing charges in Missouri. He was arrested in Lake Saint Louis after a high-speed chase with police there on Dec. 1.

“Lake Saint Louis Police received a license plate reader notification that alerted dispatch of an out of state murder suspect who had entered the city limits. Police officers located the vehicle in the area of North Henke Road and attempted to stop it. The vehicle fled and refused to stop, driving erratically in excess of 120 mph. The vehicle struck a curb which damaged a tire causing it to slow and eventually come to a stop,” a press release from LSLPD said…
