Good news for those who love country music and plenty of barbecue: Southwest Airlines has announced it will begin offering direct flights from the Capital Region’s Albany International Airport (ALB) next year.
Airport officials announced on Thursday, Sept. 26, that Southwest will offer one flight to and from Nashville International Airport each day, six days a week, beginning on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
