After responding to a ‘chaotic scene,’ officers found a toddler who had been shot. That child is not fighting for their life in the hospital.

PHOENIX — A toddler is in the hospital fighting for their life after a shooting that police say was accidental and self-inflicted.

Phoenix police told 12News that officers were called to a shooting at a home just northwest of Seventh and Southern Avenues at about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
