Mayor’s Blood Drive a success

Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers says giving blood is vital.

Nothing is as easy, yet it is so valuable to help others. That’s why he was first in line to donate blood at the seventh annual Mayor’s Blood Drive on Jan. 7.

“The blood drives are so critically important in so many different ways — in so many ways that people don’t understand. It’s the one thing that the average person can do knowing absolutely, positively the likelihood they’re going to save a life with their blood donation,” the mayor said…
