THROOP, Pa. — A massive blaze that burned down the headquarters of a Lackawanna County equipment business Wednesday caused too much damage for investigators to pin down a cause, a state police fire said.
Fire sparked at Bolus Trucking Parts in Throop just before 3 a.m. and quickly consumed the Sanderson Street building. The Mid Valley School District, less than a mile away, issued a 2-hour delay. The blaze also knocked out power to the surrounding area.
