Seahawks’ Woolen to Return Against Bills, Cornerback Depth Trending Up

After not having one starting cornerback and losing another this past weekend in a 34-14 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, both Riq Woolen and Tre Brown are working their way back to full strength going into the Seahawks’ game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Woolen, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound fifth-round pick in 2022, started Seattle’s first five games of the season opposite of Devon Witherspoon, before being out the last two weeks against the San Francisco 49ers and Falcons with an ankle injury.

One of three Seahawks’ cornerbacks battling an ankle injury, the other two, 5-foot-10, 185-pound fourth-year reserve Tre Brown and rookie fifth-round pick Nehemiah Pritchett, are both listed as questionable on the Friday injury report…
