Five-star quarterbacks are a luxury that not every program gets to experience, let alone having five starting QBs since 2011 who were former five-starts. However, Clemson isn’t your average program. Dabo Swinney has a knack for bringing in big-time QB recruits, and he has a chance to do it again in the 2026 class.
Composite five-star Jared Curtis announced his decommitment from Georgia yesterday. When he initially chose the Bulldogs, Clemson wasn’t on his final list of schools. Now, after he’s had time to think about his decision, he’s added the Tigers to the conversation.
Curtis spoke with one of On3’s national recruiting experts, Hayes Fawcett, shortly after his announcement, and Fawcett asked the Tennessee native what schools stood out to him. He gave Fawcett a list of six schools, including Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, Southern California, and South Carolina.
