A person was fatally struck by a Metro train between the Grosvenor and North Bethesda Metro stations on Saturday night.
According to Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Pete Piringer, passengers on the stopped train were safely evacuated onto a rescue train, with no injuries reported among passengers. Emergency responders were on-site evaluating the situation. Metro identified the deceased individual as a “trespasser.”
