The body of a 22-year-old Sheboygan area man was recovered Saturday morning, hours after he fell off the Pearl Street bridge in New London, according to a news release from the New London Police Department.
At 12:58 a.m., the New London Police Department received a call that the man had fallen off the bridge. His friends witnessed the fall, went into the water to try to save him but were unsuccessful, police said.
The New London police and fire departments, the Waupaca County Dive team, and the Waupaca and Outagamie counties sheriff’s offices also unsuccessfully tried to find him. A drone was used to search the water…
