CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP)–It may be feeling like January but it doesn’t really look like it with no snow on the ground especially in the Pioneer Valley. If you are a skier you’re in luck, the cold weather has allowed most ski areas to make plenty of snow.
If you look out your window and you don’t see any snow on the ground in your neighborhood you may not have to travel too far to find some. At Ski Sundown in New Hartford, Connecticut the cold weather we’ve been having has allowed them to make snow.

“Pretty much everything you see is manmade at this point,” said Bob Switzgable, Ski Sundown’s owner. “We’ve had a couple of snowstorms but not too much. So far we’re expecting some more and we’re hoping for some more but we make snow like crazy around the clock 24/7.”
And conditions are pretty good right now here on the slopes according to two skiers that spoke with 22News…
