NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — The Root Center for Advanced Recovery has opened a residential treatment facility for the first time in their 150-year history, located in New Britain.
City leaders and Root Center staff celebrated the grand opening of the Whiting Street building Wednesday. The ceremony took place on the main floor of the 10,000 square-foot and 16-bed facility that will serve men and women.
