FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY for early morning Winter Storm

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) –

Our winter system is continuing to give us widespread rain in the southern half of the ArkLaTex with a mix of everything between rain, freezing rain, ice, sleet, and snow up in the northern half mainly around Texarkana. The showers will slowly clear up and dry out as we progress through the morning. By early lunchtime in the late morning hours, we should be completely dry. Mostly cloudy skies will be left for the afternoon. High temperatures only reach into the upper 30′s.

Sunshine is back with us heading into Saturday with dry conditions and the same also continues through Sunday too. High temperatures will increase through the weekend with high’s reaching the mid to upper 40′s for Saturday before getting to the low to mid 50′s for Sunday…
