SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Shreveport Green is providing access to affordable healthy foods through their new Community Market.
On Wednesdays in Dec., Shreveport Green’s Urban Farm will be selling fresh produce for $1 per pound for residents of the Ledbetter, Allendale, and Lakeside neighborhoods. Director of Urban Farm Shanetta Brown says these neighborhoods are considered food deserts.
