Authorities say they’re close to arresting driver in hit-and-run that injured three nurses, one critically, at Penn Presbyterian

WEST PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Law enforcement sources with knowledge of the ongoing investigation tell KYW they are “very close” to making an arrest of the suspected driver who hit three nurses tending to a shooting victim outside Penn Presbyterian hospital over the weekend.

It was around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday when police say a Silver Jeep Grand Cherokee dropped off a 28-year-old outside the hospital who had been shot multiple times.

Police say then three nurses rushed out with a stretcher to tend to the victim when the driver of the Jeep ran over all four on the road…
