OXNARD, Calif. – An Oxnard man was shot after officers responded to a report of shots fired at the 3700 block of Leeward Way.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers spotted a man who matched the description with a firearm. Once they confronted him, they tried to de-escalate the situation.
