GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – It’s now possible to catch a glimpse of the 2024 Taurid meteor shower, peak viewing for these showers is just ahead.
The Taurids are known to be a long-lasting meteor shower during fall. For the southern Taurids, peak is just around the corner, from November 4-5 although active until December 8.
While best viewing for most meteor showers is after midnight, that’s not the case for the Taurids. The Taurid Meteor Shower radiant is highest around midnight, meaning this meteor shower can be seen all night long.
