The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office are investigating the death of 17-year-old Robert Preston Crawford, who was found unresponsive in a room at the Sun Inn on Calhoun Memorial Highway in Easley shortly after midnight on Saturday. Despite efforts by medical personnel, Crawford was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives believe the incident is isolated and poses no immediate danger to the public.
