There’s no place like home for Powdersville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers on Tuesday. That’s more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair’s last head-to-head.
The 3-0 score doesn’t show just how dominant Powdersville was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6, 25-8.
Several Cavaliers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chandler Sherman, who had 11 digs.
