Officials with the Sioux Falls Police Department say an 18-year-old was arrested for bringing a handgun Saturday morning into Lincoln High School, following police efforts to identify a “suspicious subject.”
Department spokesman Sam Clemens said Monday morning that students at a pancake fundraiser at the school had reported seeing a gun in the lap of a man driving a car, who later went into the campus with the gun concealed in his waistband.
Clemens said there was no indication that he showed the gun to anyone, and that police had worked with the Sioux Falls School District to obtain camera footage of the suspect, who was eventually identified and located Saturday evening…
