SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — After a couple of active weeks with rain and snow in KELOLAND, we’ll return to mainly quiet conditions for the rest of the month.
Construction to begin on Cliff Ave and I-229 interchange
We had a windy and cold day in KELOLAND. Not only did we have highs in the 30s and 40s, but winds were gusting in the 30s and 40s as well. It made for a blustery day across the area. While we’ll still have windy days ahead, today may end up being the coldest day for the rest of the month. Here’s part of the reason why.
Much like what we’ve had through the winter, the upper plains will be in northwest flow. Meaning our weather will come in from the northwest. When this happens, temperatures usually end up slightly above average with only slight chances at precipitation as moisture remains limited.
But we could still use the moisture as drought conditions continue across the area. We may have to wait and see if April supplies any relief…
