SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (USF) — The University of Sioux Falls has named Joe DeMay as just the third head coach of the women’s soccer program. With more than two decades of experience in coaching, development, and leadership, DeMay brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record to the Cougars.

We had an extremely talented candidate pool, and Joe emerged as the top choice due to his ability to recruit, knowledge of the game, and presence in the Sioux Falls area. The future of USF soccer is very bright!”
DeMay joins USF from Sioux Falls City FC, a local pre-professional United Soccer League W League team, where he serves as Sporting Director. He played a key role in establishing the club’s playing philosophy, player development plans, and coaching methodologies. His strategic approach to analytics, scouting, and player well-being helped transform the organization into a national competitor.
