The KU head coach had plenty to say postgame.
Kansas basketball led wire to wire against NC State on Saturday afternoon en route to a 75-60 win. KU got off to a great start with a 15-0 run to begin the game. From there, NC State didn’t get within two possessions. It wasn’t always pretty for KU but the Jayhawks ended up leading by as many as 17 in the second half.
As a team, KU shot 57 percent from the field while holding NC State to 37 percent shooting from the field. KU out-scored NC State by 12 behind the 3-point arc and out-rebounded NC State by 10. Zeke Mayo led KU with a season-high 24 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the field. Hunter Dickinson (21 points) and Dajuan Harris (15 points) rounded out the double-digit scorers for KU.
