A man crashed a stolen tow truck into a store in central Apex, capping off a Saturday morning crime spree in dramatic fashion.
The crash caused serious damage to the shop, Apex Coin & Currency, located at 703 E. Williams St.
Police photos show the truck plowed through the front window and slammed into the back wall, crumbling bricks and cinder blocks and tossing guns and other merchandise outside. The bed of the truck was left hanging out of the front of the shop…
