Pedestrian seriously injured in 3-car crash on I-40 in Wake County: NCHSP

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A pedestrian was seriously injured in a three-car crash in Wake County Wednesday night, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said.

According to the NCSHP, the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Interstate 40 west at mile marker 302, near Raleigh and Jones Sausage Road.

Troopers said three vehicles were involved in the collision. As a result of the crash, a pedestrian was also hit. They were transported to WakeMed with serious, life-threatening injuries…
