Tigers top Goldsboro at Terry Wall Holiday Invite to stay unbeaten

GOLDSBORO — Wilson Prep stormed past host Goldsboro in the fourth quarter to seize a 61-54 victory in the first round of the Terry Wall Holiday Invitational on Friday, Dec. 27, extending the Tigers’ season-long winning streak to six games.

Wilson Prep of the 1-A Tar-Roanoke Athletic Conference blitzed the 2-A Neuse 6 Conference Cougars (9-2) 19-7 in the final quarter when Kaiden Brown scored seven of her team-high 22 points. Nakiya Boston netted six points in the fourth quarter on the way to 13 total.
